The Network

The Latin American and Caribbean Network for the Humanization of the Childbirth (RELACAHUPAN) is a set of national networks, groups and people which propose to improve the experience of childbirth and the way to be born.

It was founded after the “Childbirth & Birth Humanization” Conference took place in Ceará , Brazil , in november 2000.

Since then, more people from different countries who could not assist to that Conference and who are active at the same goals of the Network have joined it .

The groups and people of each country have action autonomy, the altruistic work to improve the life in the planet by means of a healthy and satisfactory birth and childbirth is what joins them.

Through this Network, the groups and people interchange information and interact as part of a continental campaigne for childbirth humanization.
